How to form a Nexuiz clan
If you want to have some clan vs clan matchups, be a part of a more organized group, or play CTF with an actual strategy (:-P) then you may want to consider joining a clan. There aren't that many Nexuiz clans in North America, so a good option would be to
create your own clan and invite players to it. It's really not that complicated to form a clan. Here are some tips.
Step 1: Pick a name
This is self-exlanatory. As part of your clan name, you'll have some clan initials that each of the members will put at the beginning of their name. For example, my clan name is [tsa]Dokujisan.
Step 2: Scout some players
Many of the regular CTF players really want to play as a cohesive team. If you see some regular CTF players that seem like a good fit, then just ask them if they would consider joining your clan. You'll probably have to explain to them what that involves. Eventually, you will find some clan members to join. Make sure everyone uses the clan initials in their name.
Step 3: Connect with other clans
You can visit IRC chat (
instructions are here) and join the #nexuiz channel or the #nexuiz.ninjaz channel, and also create your own channel for your clan. Use the initials of your clan, then a period, then the word Nexuiz. For example, the Team Storm Assault chat room is #tsa.nexuiz.

Step 4: Create a website
Your clan website is mainly for giving information about your clan, or information on how to join. You could setup a simply blog account which has updates on your clan matches, a list of players, links to download your recorded demos, or any other information you feel like presenting about your clan. Nexuiz Ninjaz website. To set that up,

Step 5: Add your clan to the Unofficial Nexuiz WIKI

Step 6: Announce your clan on the Nexuiz forum
Just create a thread in the Nexuiz general forum that announces your clan, with a link to your website, list of players, etc.
Note: Most of the above is optional The bare minimum would be steps 1 and 2: pick a name and find some team members to join you.
